How does the Twitter module work and what is it used for?

The Twitter module displays the most recent tweets from the user of your choice.

What should I know about the Twitter module before I start?

If Twitter.com is down, the module will not work as the module gets its data directly from Twitter.

How do I add a Twitter module?

Step 1: Log into Javelin.

Step 2: Choose which web page and region you want to add the module to, then click the black "Add" button above this region.

Click the black Add button to add modules to a region.

Step 3: The Add Module popup will appear. Choose that you would like to insert a "Twitter" module.

Select Twitter from the Add Module popup.

Step 4: The module will appear on the page with a warning to set a username in the module's settings. This warning is not visible to users or while in View mode.

How do I delete a Twitter module?

Step 1: Click the arrow next to the "Settings" button on the module's admin bar.

Step 2: Click "Delete."

Step 3: Click "OK" at the prompt to confirm deletion.

How do I move a Twitter module?

Click & drag the module from the four-pointed arrow on its admin bar to move the module between regions or other modules on the page.

How do I display tweets?

Step 1: Click "Settings" on the Twitter Module admin bar.

Step 2: Select "Twitter" from the navigation on the left, it is the last option.

Step 3: Type the username of the Twitter user you wish to stream in the "Twitter Username" text box.

Step 4: Click "Save."

How do I limit the number of tweets?

Step 1: Click "Settings" on the Twitter Module admin bar.

Step 3: Type the desired number of tweets you wish to show in the "Tweet Limit" text box.

What does Display Header do and how do I change it?

When "Display Header" is checked, it will show the username and profile picture for the user whose tweets are being displayed. If "Display Twitter Logo" is selected to "Display in Header," that will also appear here.

Step 1: Click "Settings" on the module's admin bar.

Step 2: Select "Display" from the navigation on the left, it is the second option.

Step 3: Check/uncheck the check box under "Display Header" to show/hide the header.
