However, some designs to take into account further levels, you will have to recall the design file to figure out how many levels that are styled you have available.

Why should I ever hide a page?

Working on incomplete pages.

Hidden pages are a great way to work on a page where the content is incomplete and will be available at a later time. Making it hidden, with no link access, makes it so only administrators can get to it.

This is not a way to make a "members-only" area. For information on that. Please view the tutorial on Users and Groups.

Saving space in the navigation.

If you have a lot of information that needs to be on separate pages, but you don't necessarily want or need to put it in the navigation, creating a hidden page, with link access, makes it available to be linked to from any place in your site.

    • The pages below it would move with it.
  • Move down one level
  • Move to bottom
  • Move out one level
    • This would put it on the same level as the page that is second from the top.
  • Move in one level

How can I set up the URL structure of my website?

This is an advanced tutorial intended for those who understand what a URL is and how its structure relate to their website.

How the Sitemap Works

When you create a page, what you typed becomes the URL; the words are separated by dashes, are made lowercase, and most special characters are ignored. For example:

  • Page name & Location: Manage Menu, top level page
  • URL: /manage-menu/

The first slash indicates it is a top-level page. Further slashes indicate sub pages. For example:

  • Page Name & Location: Sitemap sub page of Manage Menu
  • URL: /manage-menu/sitemap/

When you rearrange pages, the URL structure remains the same. So even if you make a sub page appear top level, the URL structure remains as it was when the page was created.

To Alter an Existing Structure/URL

Remake the page in the appropriate place and copy the modules from the previous page to the new one. If there are several modules and/or modules that are difficult to copy, contact us at 405-478-4080 or file a support ticket and we'll update the structure for you.
